“Modern megayachts are often designed as luxury floating hotels with a traditional luxury interior design concept. With this hybrid megayacht concept we aimed to draw attention from the simple pure admiration to an innovative platform where people can live and experience the beauty of nature and ever-changing elements all around us“.
This is how the Norwegian shipyard Hareide Design Norway sums their new concept up.
This 108-metre- boat has actually huge interiors, wide portlights and panoramic spaces, so that guests can live on a megayacht while experiencing nature and environment. The lower deck is mostly open and the stern gently slopes to the sea so that sea “enters” the boat, like in a beach.
Moreover, the boat is equipped with two swimming pools: a fore infinity one and a 20-metre-long pool near the man deck garden, full of vines. The closed zone of the main deck is a huge crystal hall. Suspended above, a very panoramic lunch zone.
Inside, but always with the sea as main character thanks to the large lateral windows, a multi-purpose hall for concerts, parties and events.
The boat follows the typical North-European style, with clear colours, clear lines, lots of wood and glass and simplicity….or so it appears.
Everything is powered by a 300-square-meter solar cell surface charging the lithium batteries which should be sufficient – according to the yard – to push, gently and slowly, the yacht during short coastal cruises. Anyway, the boat is provided with a hybrid engine and an elipad on the sun deck, too.
