It is with great excitement that Teo Aiello showed us the brand-new Prince 50 at Boot Düsseldorf. Not a concept, not a rendering or an idea but a finished maxi Rib that is ready to be admired on site.
The Prince 50 is the flagship of the range and the largest boat ever built by the Milanese shipyard.
The standard model is powered by four Yamaha V8 425 XTO Offshore outboards, combined with the Helm Master joystick steering system and installed on an aluminum bracket but, on request, the owner can fit the boat with both the brand-new Mercury Verado and inboard engines, petrol or diesel, also combined with surface propellers.
The deck lines of the Prince 50 were drawn by the young designer Luca Macchi. Despite an overall size of 15.05 x 4.54 m, the spaces and technical contents of this boat are truly extraordinary. Below deck, for instance, the living comfort has very few peers in the current market.
The cabin features a large hallway and a galley with sink, 40-liter refrigerator and microwave. On the opposite side, instead, the bathroom is equipped with a marine toilet, a shower, some pieces of furniture and a washbasin.
As inevitable for a boat of this size, the “queen” zone is represented by the master cabin that, in this case, hosues a large bed in the middle with panoramic windows, cupboards and pocket emptiers all around. Aft, there is a double bed for guests with wardrobes and drawers.
Highlights include a large window in the ceiling that contributes to make the cabin even airier while a long series of LED lights in the false ceiling contribute to enhancing this space. Another innovation is the additional fore entrance which, ingenious, allows to both go below deck from the aft dinette and enjoy an influx of natural air when at anchor.
In the cockpit, two large walkways envelop a sun pad, a dinette with a teak-and-steel table and a wet bar equipped with sink, countertop/cutting board, two induction hobs, a 100-liter drawer refrigerator and an ice maker.
The steering console houses three ergonomic independent seats and a cockpit suitable for the “rank” of the boat protected by a double-layer tempered glass windscreen instead of the usual plexiglass one. In the dashboard it is, in fact, possible to install a very large display or two screens of at least 12 inches.
The bow section, instead, accommodates a dinette with an electric height-adjusting folding table. The latter is entirely covered with fine solid teak while the cleats are all retractable and the stainless steel handrails have a particular oval shape in order to be grasped more easily.
The range of accessories is particularly complete: standard equipment, in fact, includes two winches with pedal control in the stern, air conditioning in the cabin and a power generator.
The “Tropical” upholstery by Italvipla makes the boat ever more exclusive thanks to some special materials that do not heat up under exposure to ultraviolet rays even in the darkest shades.
Confirming its great attention to customers’ needs, Nuova Jolly Marine offers a wide range of colour options to customize the hull, the deck, the tubulars and the upholstery of the boat.
Among the options available, there are even a painted stainless steel T-Top with fiberglass top, a sun awning with carbon poles and bow thrusters.
The newly-designed hull was developed by the Technical Office of the shipyard. Tubulars are made in Pennel & Flipo Orca 1,670dtex hypalon-neoprene with eight compartments.
The Prince 50 is offered for sale from EUR 710,000 (VAT excluded), fitted with three Mercury Verado 350 engines.
