Chris Craft is of one the most charming American brands. At the Miami Boat Show, a great overseas boating exhibition, among powerful fisherman and multicoloured led-lighted megayachts, the boats which got noticed the most, for their elegance and refined equipments, were the small Chris Craft boats.
The new product is Capri 25, which follows Capri 21, sharing the same vertical bow of the old Chris Crafts models of 1930’s. The history of this shipbuilder starts in 1874, as told by the video below, and it is the only builder which can compete with Riva (and the current President, Stephen Julius, was the owner of Riva from 1999 to 2000 through Stellican, specialized into buying and restoring famous brands in difficulty).
The new Capri 25 has an innovative windscreen, a larger fore cabin with a bathroom, storable teak coffee tables and elegant stainless ventilation grills.
There is also a lateral hydraulic gangway which allows an easy passage from the astern pilot house to the cockpit. Exuberant, as usual, the engine, a V 8 Volvo Penta 300 Hp engine. The price starts from 129,000 dollars.
