Alain Raas is the new Global Brand Director of Aquila Power Catamarans. This was announced in a company press release, justifying the new appointment as a decision “to reinforce Aquila’s position as the global leader in power catamarans”.
A lifelong boater in both the power and competitive sail categories, Raas has completed a successful trans-Pacific crossing, broadening his knowledge and understanding of boating and the industry.
The new Global Brand Director of Aquila Power Catamarans will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that business objectives are in line with brand standards, as well as provide essential support and guidance to Aquila dealers worldwide.
Previously, Alain Raas worked as Aquila Brand Manager at MarineMax. His unique and varied experience will help foster the brand’s continued global expansion and successfully launch several new models in the coming years. “My passion lies in taking beautifully crafted products from the design and ideation stage all the way through to launch – says Raas – Aquila has an expansive vision for its product portfolio over the next several years, and I am thrilled to be a part of bringing that vision to life”.
