Osmosea, a leader in the boating industry for the production and distribution of watermakers, has been participating in BOOT, the international boat show in Düsseldorf, for over ten years. With each edition, the company has seen a growing number of customers who now recognize the brand and the company as a mark of exceptional quality and reliability.
Mario Alagna, owner of Osmosea alongside Carlo Zerilli, shared his satisfaction with the company’s progress when we met him at the OSMOSEA stand. He reflected on how the relationship with customers has evolved over the years:
“Today, the Osmosea brand is well-known and recognized. We’ve been investing in boat shows for years, participating in METS in Amsterdam, the Genoa International Boat Show, and this year, in addition to our presence in Düsseldorf, we’ve decided to take part in NOR-SHIPPING in Oslo from June 2 to 6. This event is where the maritime and ocean industries meet every two years—a natural gathering point for key decision-makers from around the world to connect, collaborate, and close deals. We believe it’s more important than ever to embrace multiple markets, continuously improve, and gain new knowledge”.
What truly sets Osmosea apart is its ability to serve all segments of the market—from recreational boating to superyachts, as well as commercial and work vessels—without limiting itself to any one sector.
Osmosea designs desalination systems tailored to onboard needs, leveraging the most advanced technologies available today. A key focus is enhancing automation and stability, the latter being a crucial factor for those navigating at sea.
Mario Alagna continues: “We have continuously improved our products to make them reliable and long-lasting while keeping them easy to use and maintain”.
Watermakers have now become some of the most essential installations on board, providing autonomy and proving indispensable for those undertaking long cruises.
Osmosea’s two new products, the NEW 12 and NEW 12S watermakers, boast an 80% reduction in energy consumption—a crucial factor when planning both water and power autonomy on board.
“During boat shows, customers stop by our stand to thank us and congratulate us on Osmosea products, which reassures us that we’re on the right path. Every day, we think about what can be improved and what more we can do”, concludes Mario Alagna.
