After Pachamama, forefather of Fast range with a length of 43 metres, now it’s the turn of Baglietto 46 Fast.
43 Fast, launched last year, was the first yacht conceived, designed and built by the new Baglietto’s management, after the shipbuilder was bought by Gavio Group in 2012.
The Fast range wants to remind the origins of the brand, born with planing fast boats. 46Fast has long lines, an aggressive bow and in important stern.
The exterior design is by Francesco Paszkowski; the superstructure is light and compact even if not too high. An interesting alternation of rectangular and trapezoidal windows, at different levels, creates a good effect.
As regards interiors, designed by Paszkowski in collaboration with the architect Margherita Casprini, their layout is classic and it has 4 guest cabins on the lower deck and a shipowner’s cabin, equipped with a studio, a dressing room and a bathroom, on the main deck. The upper deck hosts a big hall with a conversation zone, the captain’s cabin and the steering gear. On the lower deck, the crew’s zone. Interiors are big and comfortable, a little unusual in such big planing boats.
Totally made of aluminium, this yacht can reach a maximum speed of 28 knots thanks to its 2 MTU 16V4000 engines. It is certified by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and it respects the international MCA rules.
The boat will be presented in worldwide preview at the next boat shows of Cannes and Monaco.
