Absolute Yachts, notable Italian shipyard, took part in the 2020 FLIBS with three novelties
Spacious, most accurately describes the Absolute range, including the 52 and 58 Navetta and the 47 Fly which were all on display. The feel of Absolute is that you can stretch up and out in all directions, encountering the full breadth of open water and sky.
The Navetta 58 was restyled for 2020, boasting a larger flybridge hard top and large angled hull-side windows. The tall frameless windows surrounding the deck, high salon ceilings, high freeboard and flybridge are visible throughout the model range, all which add to the spaciousness of the yachts.
The Navetta 58 has three cabins; a full beam, en suite amidship master is massive as is the forward VIP, both with ample storage. The twin bunk stateroom is positioned amidships while the crew cabin is aft. Many fine finishes like leather door pulls demonstrate Italian attention to detail, also seen in the open main deck salon and aft-placed galley, which offer copious seating options to lounge and entertain.
The neutral color palette and textures feel rich, extending to the teak aft deck which provides ample seating as does the bow, where a lounge and huge sun pad invite relaxation.
On the flybridge, with retractable deflector, the captain sits central, surrounded by passengers who can be entertained at the bar or the lushly upholstered seats. Sun lovers have two lounge chairs aft.
Volvo Penta D-8 IPS 800 engines provide plenty of power and the 634-gallon fuel capacity ensures range.
The Navetta 52, a smaller version of its larger sister ship, has Volvo Penta IPS 650 engines. The 52 shares all the amenities of the 58 in accommodations and includes the Garmin Sweden EmpirBus digital switching system, twin Garmin 16” screens, a Quick CHC anchor chain control and a joystick at the helm.
This model’s deep chocolate leather seating and carbon fiber air-conditioned helm are contrasted by the light salon seating and neutral aft galley fixtures.
The 47 Flybridge, though the smallest of the model range, feels anything but. It shares all the open features of the Navetta line in a more compact version. The Flybridge’s captain sits starboard with passenger seating aft and a sun pad to port. The main deck has ample seating and sunbathing area at the bow and is accessed easily from the swim platform via two walkways around the cockpit or the starboard helm-side door. Steps down to the cabins reveal three large suites: two double and a twin bunk and two heads.
The Absolute line provides breathtaking views from every angle and a layout that invites entertaining days at sea and relaxing evenings aboard a precisely and luxuriously designed Italian yacht.
