As recently anticipated, Amare has finally exhibited, at Mets in Amsterdam, the first prototype of Stealth, its “invisible” porthole, the first in the world perfectly in line with the glass where it is installed on, both internally and externally.
“We’re very satisfied– told us Michele Preziuso, Business Development Manager of the company – we arrived almost at the last moment but we finally managed to exhibit the first sample of Stealth. Of course, it’s still a prototype but it was worth it”
Did you have positive feedback?
“Absolutely yes and immediately. It impresses a lot, and not only normal yachtsmen, but also yard technicians and experts. Especially for sailing boats, where clear lines are increasingly required, this product can represent the future”
Looked closely, it astonished for its simplicity, functionality and the way it manages to insert on the smooth window surface. There are neither steps nor visible junctions. Its closing is guaranteed by a sort of fat “latch” perfectly in line with the glass.
Amare was present at Mets with an amazing stand, especially designed to show the best of the latest news, such as Vision, for which the company reproduced its “natural environment”, that is the side of a big yacht. Vision is 3 metres wide and 1.10 m high; its glass weights 115 kg and it completely disappears inside the boat’s structure. It is moved by two electric motors, even though there’s also a manual system which can be used in case of emergency.
Finally, Amare also exhibited Infinity and Vanity, two among the most successful products of the group: ” The first, a porthole, has had positive feedback both in Italy and abroad. However, we are working to improve it – told us Michele Preziuso – offering the possibility to customize it in terms of colours and providing it with a special scratch-proof and anti-corrosion film, available in 8 different versions”. Vanity is, on the contrary, an elegant teak-and-steel gangway, now presented in a more advanced version than the original.
