May 2015 – From a recent interview with PerMare Group after a visit to the Amer 94′:
”It is really impressive how fast the construction of our Amer 94′ is going. There is much ferment on board. We are particularly astonished by the size of the sitting room which has gained a lot of light and by the lower deck which has gained more space, with the biggest main cabin we have never built for this type of boats. There is a lot of curiosity about the new three-IPS engine and we are proud to be the first ones in the world to adopt this configuration in superyachts and we are sure that it will completely transform the future of cruising. The purpose to reduce consumptions and emissions is a true challenge for us. Talk to you soon for new updates and thank you to all those who are following us in this adventure”.
Here are some photos from the boatyards:
Fore zone from which you can see the places where the electrical windlass (central picture at the bottom, with traced guidelines), circumscribing the hawsehole, and the chain well doors will be placed. You can also see the cut of the bow jetty.
Finishes and main deck set up to the installation of the systems.
Detail of the poop pods. You can see the compartment seal gum above the submerged swivelling unit. Under this, the emission and smoke drain.
The 3 pods of Volvo Penta IPS 1200 are installed on board. The fore part is ready for the installation of two contrarotating propellers; abaft, the emission drain.
View of the superstructure. Abaft, you can see the warp during the installation of the fiberglass. On the side, there are the compartments for watertight doors: abaft, you can also see the space for the technical locker watertight door; ahead, the space for the kitchen watertight door.
