Ampermarine’s miniWUWLED underwater lights installed on a Grand Soleil 65

Ampermarine’s underwater lighting systems for yachts are becoming increasingly popular on boats worldwide. One of the latest prestigious installations took place on a magnificent Grand Soleil 65. Two wireless miniWUWLED underwater spotlights have been in fact installed on this iconic yacht, enhancing the importance and allure of the yacht. Thanks to the elegant and sophisticated lines of the Grand Soleil 65, the extraordinary brightness of these small but powerful underwater lights is especially noticeable.

“We are excited that more and more shipyards are appreciating our miniWUWLED spotlights – says Elio Tamanti of Ampermarine, interviewed by YachtingNews – Our underwater lighting systems for yachts are spreading more and more in the boating market. Many important shipyards are conducting tests with the miniWUWLED and we are receiving excellent feedback. This is a clear confirmation of the excellence and quality of this product, perfect for both superyachts and smaller units”.

The miniWUWLED spotlights provide wireless underwater lighting for non-metallic hulls. These powerful lights, the pinnacle of technology and innovation expressed by Ampermarine, can be easily installed without drilling the hull, thus preserving the integrity of the boat and eliminating the risk of cracks and water infiltration.

More specifically, the miniWUWLED lights transmit energy through a non-metallic wall using the futuristic “Wireless Energy Transfer” technology, which ensures about 80% efficiency at a maximum distance of 40 mm and up to 12W of LED power, managed by remote drivers. The transmitted energy remains constant at various distances thanks to Ampermarine’s patented automatic power management system, which continuously calculates and applies the settings to the miniWUWLED. This is a guarantee of technical perfection, confirming the excellence of the company.

A particularly important feature is that the miniWUWLED lighting technology has been specifically designed to protect the integrity of the yacht. The spotlight can be installed using the special 3M adhesive superglue or with a screw frame, allowing for easier maintenance.
