Aquijo, the biggest of modern ketches

Unity makes strength.

Aquijo is the result of the joint work of Vitters and Oceanco, two of dutch best shipbuilders in the megayachts world. On top of that, exterior lines and naval architecture have the prestigious signature of Bill Tripp.

This is how the biggest of modern ketches is born: a superyacht which is 85,9 metres long and 14,48 metres wide.

The shipowner wanted the construction and planning phases to be supervised by Master Management, a company specialized in special projects‘s management. The result is a sailing megayacht actually capable of sailing, a boat that gifts great emotions. A special steering gear was designed for Aquijo in order to transmit even the lightest of perception to the flying bridge, starting from the two, huge rudder blades.oceanco-5-300x196

Aquijo is not just an undercover motoryacht and its two 90 metres high masts, each of them with five crosstree sets, really prove it.

Other focus points of the project are a really high level of comfort and luxury (only six guest cabins are provided and interior design is cured by Dolker and Voges’ specialists) and the ability to navigate anywhere in the world, no matter the latitude.
