For Azimut-Benetti Group, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is a very important strategic event. This year, the yard is present with a fleet of 20 boats.
The “queen” will be certainly Verve 40 (in the picture above), with which Azimut is getting ready to enter the segment of sport walkaround boats, typical of the American market. Verve 40 combines, in fact, all the traditional features of American day cruisers but with a more elegant style and more spaciousness. Equipped with three Mercury Verado 350 Hp engines, Verve 40 reaches a 44-knot-top speed and a 37-knot-cruising one.
Another great news is 66 Fly, the latest creation of Flybridge range which offers a 4-cabin-layout and an over 28-square-metre flybridge, the biggest of its category. This boat is the top product of the range thanks to some advanced technological solutions, such as an electronic steering system, an embedded custom-made monitoring system and the use of carbon fibre, a choice which has allowed to increase volumes and surfaces by keeping a reduced weight and an excellent dynamic stability.
Benetti yard, on the contrary, has chosen to show its “Fast” side with Vivace 125′ (Fast Displacement range) together with Crystal 140′ ( Class Displacement range). The first is a 38-metre yacht with three decks, a sun deck, modern design and high-tech elements. She offers 4 guest suites, a large master apartment and a huge spa, equipped with a gym, on the upper deck.
Interiors, designed by Alfred Karram Jr, are modern and innovative. The yacht ensures excellent performances, too: theD2P_Displacement to Planing® bottom is equipped with a wave piercer and an innovative series of azipod transmissions, developed by the yard in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, which enable the boat to reach higher speed (up to 24 knots) or cruise at an economical speed with lower consumption, always with comfort and in all waters, even the lowest ones, like in Bahamas.
After the preview at Miami Boat Show 2016, Benetti also exhibits Crystal 140’ M/Y MR D (42 m).
Exteriors are by Stefano Righini while interiors have been designed by Ezequiel Farca. As her name (Crystal) suggests, light plays an essential role and floods interiors which, in their turn, can be completely custom-made.
With an oceanic range of 4000 miles, Crystal 140′ is a real trawler suited to long crossings thanks to a clever arrangement of her spaces.
