After the first model launched in 2014, now the available Bali catamarans are three (4.0,4.3 and 4.5) while the flagship, called 5.8, is under construction.
Bali are cruise catamarans manufactured by Catana, a French yard which has made history in the world of multihulls.
The new 5.8 is bigger than the previous models, as required by modern market.
The strength of Bali 5.8 is its versatility. Firs of all, it will be available in both sailing and motor version. Moreover, it will be Classic, with separated dinette and astern cockpit, or Open, with a large living zone including a dinette and a cockpit separable by a tilting door. A successful solution already adopted by other Bali models.
Bali 5.8 will have 4, 5 or 6 cabins, in addition to a fore crew zone.
So, a catamaran designed to meet the desires and needs of a wide target – from private to charters, from yachtsmen to those who prefer motorboats. It will be launched in 2017. The first version will be a sailing Bali 5.8 Open.
Thanks to these larger sizes , the fore cockpit – available on all Bali catamarans – will become wider and more welcoming and it will be linked to the dinette through a front door (on smaller models, entrance is from outside), like on bigger yachts. In fact, Bali 5.8 has been designed to compete with 70-foot-models.
The fly, too, is huge and provided with a seat, a sunbathing area and some sofas. It is accessible from both the right and left side of the fore cockpit.
