After the conclusion of the first part of the Benetti Giga Season with the launch of 3 Giga yachts in just 100 days, the Italian shipyard celebrates another important achievement and delivers three other superyachts of the Class category.
We’re talking about the Benetti Mediterraneo 116 ” Big Five”, the seventh Benetti Delfino “Aslan” and the eleventh Benetti Classic Supreme 132. These deliveries mark a particularly successful summer season for the shipyard and delight the three owners that, from this summer, can enjoy their new boats.
35.5 meters: that is the size of Big Five, the fifth Benetti Mediterraneo 116 that the Italian shipyard has just delivered to her owner. The interiors of the boat, featuring light-coloured matt-finish wood accompanied by grey-shaded varieties and dark ashwood, look sophisticated and modern also because of the use of Olimpico Striato and Zebrino Apuano marbles. Exteriors, instead, come from the creativity of designer Giorgio M. Cassetta. This boat is the fifth Benetti Mediterraneo 116 delivered by the shipyard.
Big Five is designed to accommodate 12 passengers and 7 crew members. The lower deck contains 4 cabins: 2 double VIP cabins and 2 Guest cabins. Interiors have been customized to reflect the needs expressed by the owner, who has a full-beam cabin in the forward section of the main deck featuring panoramic windows. Access to the cabin is through a private study that separates it from the convivial areas while the bathroom is dominated by a large shower box and a marble seat.
The main deck
The yacht’s propulsion is provided by two MAN V12-1400 1400 hp/1029 kW engines.
Again in Viareggio, Benetti Yachts has also delivered the Benetti Delfino 95 “Aslan”, the seventh Delfino 95 unit. Her delivery was celebrated by the owner, his family and about 40 guests with a two-day party.
For the first time, the Benetti Delfino 95 has been designed with a blue hull and a red waterline. The simplicity of the colourways and materials used give this unit a highly original sense of elegance. The alternating white, blue and red colours and the use of teak recall the world of sailing yachts, which is where the owner has his background.
Edmiston & Company has taken care of both concept and design. Interiors are the work of the Benetti Yachts Interior Style Department, under the guidance of the owner. All the spaces are those of a contemporary and elegant yacht where teak is used in alternation with light-coloured carpeting and Taj Mahal marble.
The lower deck includes 2 VIP cabins, 2 Twin cabins, 2 crew cabins and the master cabin, all featuring fine materials that ensure continuity with the yacht’s styling.
One striking feature of the bow area on the upper deck is a full-custom Jacuzzi that is larger and deeper than the pools normally found on boats of this type. In the stern section, instead, a light-coloured teak dinner table with steel frame recalls the convertible small tables in the cockpit of the main deck and perfectly matches the marine-styled seats. Two comfortable red sofas with light-coloured pillows and a coffee table offer unforgettable relaxing moments.
Featuring wide exterior spaces designed by Stefano Righini, the Benetti Classic Supreme 132 is a custom yacht with the traditional elegant design and attention to details that has always characterized the Viareggio-based shipyard. Thanks to its streamlined profile, this yacht has many full-height windows that flood the interior with natural light on both the main and upper decks.
The interiors come from the collaboration between Mexican designed Ezequiel Farca and the Benetti Style Department. The interior layout provides 5 Guest cabins for 10 guests. Positioned on the lower deck, two of them are equipped with double beds while the other two are twin-bedded, each with private bathroom. On this deck, in the bow section and separated from the guest area, is accommodation for a seven-member crew with four cabins, a galley and a dinette. The master cabin on the main deck is preceded by a wide hall and a relaxation area and hosts a double shared bathroom.
In the engine room, a pair of MTU 12V engines provide a top speed of 14.5 knots and a range of 3,200 nautical miles at the cruising speed of 11 knots.
