Besenzoni continues its path towards innovation and, after winning the Dame Design Award with the visionary design of the P400 Matrix pilot chair, it launches a revolutionary App which shelves the old remote control and enables boat owners to easily open, close and adjust their gangways via Bluetooth.

How many times, especially at night, have you arrived at the dock and realized you forgot your gangway remote control, or worse, have you stayed out while the rest of the crew was already sleeping inside? Climbs, jumps on the stern, launch of ropes…these are all things you have certainly experienced!

But, now, your gangway only needs a smartphone or a tablet to be opened, adjusted and make you climb on board with no stress.

The App is free and compatible with both IOS 9.0 and Android 7.0 or higher. Every gangway can be therefore remote-controlled and connected to 8 different devices simultaneously. Of course, it must be combined with BUC (Besenzoni Unit Control), a Bluetooth receiver that can be purchased via the Besezoni’s sales and assistance network, which will enable you to operate your boat gangway.

After downloading the App, you only need to provide, at the time of purchase, your gangway serial number so that Besensoni can identify and install the Bluetooth receiver to be linked to that particular gangway. If, on the contrary, you want to purchase a new gangway, you only have to ask for this optional and you will receive a device perfectly compatible with the model you have purchased.

This is a significant step forward towards the simplification of boat management since boats can now be controlled by a device that everyone has at home: our smartphone.
