Besenzoni opens its doors to the Italian Yacht Masters Association

Besenzoni opened its doors for the “Captains’ Experience,” an event that welcomed 13 captains from the Italian Yacht Masters association for an engaging discussion on the preferences and needs of owners and crews on board superyachts from around the world. On 22nd and 23rd February, the Sarnico-based company Besenzoni hosted the second edition of the event, which was born from an idea of Giorgio Besenzoni, the managing director of the Italian brand, and the architect Filippo Rossi. Thirteen masters, including board member Marco Nocenti, from the Italian Yacht Masters Association which counts 99 members were welcomed for two days of in-depth discussions and opportunities to exchange ideas aimed at improving the life on board of boat owners and crews.

Giorgio Besenzoni took the delegation on a tour of the company to show the latest innovations designed for superyachts to enhance the on-board experience. As always, very positive feedback was given with regard to the production quality and design technology behind the brand, especially its application to the Unica customised product range, and everything related to the handling of on-board components for large yachts, of which the Oceano range of ladders/gangways is the perfect example. Besenzoni, the world-renowned Italian brand of boating accessories, is always ahead of the ever-changing requirements and desires of yacht and superyachts owners.

The participation of the 13 captains of the Italian Yacht Masters Association was a significant opportunity for exchanging ideas and suggestions in order to improve the work of the professionals on board as well as promoting the well-being of boat owners and their guests. Both parties agreed on the importance of ensuring the best possible yachting experience, highlighting the need to increasingly pay attention to space and to adopt high-tech solutions that enhance life on board, not only for boat owners but also for their crew, in the pursuit of a better, sustainable and safe experience.

The Italian Yacht Masters Association represents an exclusive club of Italian superyacht captains who share the same fundamental principles such as respect, integrity, expertise and professionalism. Its main purpose is to promote excellence, highlighting the pride and valuable traditions of Italian yachting.

Giorgio Besenzoni, CEO, stated: “We were delighted to receive a delegation of Italian Yacht Master for the second year running, and we hope that this event will become a regular appointment, to be experienced as an important and stimulating discussion about the yachting sector. To make the technology behind our products better known to those who will have to use them and receiving their feedback is certainly important with a view to increasing customer satisfaction”.

Marco Nocenti of Italian Yacht Masters, added: “This association was created with the aim of developing a community that allows the sharing of expertise and knowledge in an increasingly global and constantly evolving market. Initiatives like this one, collaborating with companies like Besenzoni, encouraging discussions and networking opportunities, are crucial for us to be able to fully develop our professional expertise in the sector”.
