Good news for a boat which has made history in the Italian boating. Blu Martin 13.80 returns with a new updated model. The brand from Como, now part of Sea Engineering, proposes the popular 14-foot boat in a new version which reinterprets the original charm in a contemporary key.
It will be launched next July and it will be officially presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival next September.
What’ s new? Much more than a simple restyling and many changes, like the new wheelhouse, explicitly inspired by automotives and with more space for electronic devices.
The astern sundeck has been reduced a little in its central sections, in order to delete eventual wake vaporization “returns”; the boat has been equipped with larger lateral windows in order to increase inner brightness. Interiors, too, will have new designs, with two or three cabins and many customization solutions.
The hardtop has a new larger expandable surface, the fore sunbathing platform is larger and the cockpit has a new retractable table which allows a more comfortable use of the sofa.
The possible engines are: two IPS Volvo Penta engines ( 2x 435 hp or 2x 375 hp engines) or 2 Efb Volvo Penta D6-D/P 400 hp engines.
The hull design is always the same as in the original version. With IPS 600 engines, the maximum speed can reach 36 knots, while the cruising speed is 29 knots with a good consumption (95 l/h)
