Boat stolen at the Marina degli Aregai. Help us find her.

The incredible theft happened at the Marina degli Aregai, Italy, between Sunday, November 5, 18:30 and Monday, November 6, 20:00. How can a 17-meter sailboat disappear this way?

The owners, TangaroaKarin Lutz and Guido Rispoli, have contacted us and asked if we could publish and share this article so they may get back their boat.

The missing sailboat is a UK-flagged Moody 54 DS with white hull. Given the weather conditions of last week, the boat is presumed to sail to France. However, we think she should be searched almost everywhere.

Tangaroa – that’s the name of the boat – can be also identified by her hull number (DEMOO54019I415) or her Volvo D3 150 engine number (A332780).

Tangaroa2What can we do?

We have simply to look around. Since it’s quite difficult to winterize such a large boat, she will certainly be sailing or will be docked somewhere. So, please look around and share this article with your friends and all yachting enthusiasts on social media.

Anyone with information regarding this missing boat can send an e-mail to info@tuttobarche.it or comment this article. We’ll immediately inform owners.
