The 61st Genoa Booat Show will be open to the public from 16 to 21 September, with the entrance ticket to be purchased online at the event’s official website. The kermesse will be held in full safety and in compliance with Covid-19 regulations, and access will be regulated by the green pass.
Where to buy tickets online
In order to avoid crowds, Genoa Boat Show admission tickets can only be purchased online here or by simply clicking on the image below. The full-price ticket costs € 19, while admission is free for those born after 2009 and for anyone accompanying a disabled person. The ticket is nominative and can only be used for the day selected at the time of purchase, which can be done by credit card. Dogs are allowed with a muzzle and leash.
Boat Show Guide
The exhibition area exceeds 200 thousand square meters and stretches across the pavilions and the water. The Show will provide the necessary spaces for nautical operators, including companies, freelances, and service providers belonging to the boating world and its allied industries. Visitors will also have the opportunity to “train, update and analyse” about the yachting sector.
The Show will be held at Piazzale John Fitzgerald Kennedy 1, (Cap 16129), opening hours are from 10:00 to 18:30. The exhibition area is covered by a free Wi-Fi network and an interactive map of the Show is available for all devices to keep up to date with the developments of the event. How to get the Boat Show
Genoa Boat Show parking passes, which guarantee a parking space, must be purchased together with the entrance ticket online at the official website by credit card. Scooter traffic is forbidden inside the exhibition area. By train, the closest railway station is that of Genoa Brignole, just 1.4 km from the Show. A luggage area is also available in the exhibition area.
Pavilions
Five areas will be set up to delight boating enthusiasts. The “Yacht and Superyacht” area will be devoted to the most wonderful boats. The “Sailing World” zone will feature the entire sailing world. The “Boating Discovery” area takes an all-round look at outboard boats. In the “Tech Trade” area you will discover components and accessories. The space dedicated to this area is that of the upper Pavilion B, which will provide great scope for ‘business to business’ activities. In addition, visitors will discover the “Living the Sea” area, with even more novelties.
The Forum Area
Pavilion B will also host the FORUM, where Confindustria Nautica‘s institutional conferenced will be held to discuss the “main current issues of the sector, including news, discussions with institutions, technical aspects, support and development polices“. The boats can, of course, be visited on board. It is suggested to arrange this in advance and book an appointment with your preferred boatyard.
Design Innovation Award
The event will also host the “Design Innovation Award”, the prize dedicated to the best products on display that stand out for their “excellence in nautical production in terms of research, innovation, formal and technical quality, and sustainability”. The competition was set up in the last edition by I Saloni Nautici and Confindustria Nautica, the boat show’s organizer. This year, Genoa Boat Show’s institutional partners include the ICE agency, the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, the Liguria Region and Genoa City Council.
