The evolution of the C-Tender 40: even more spacious

The evolution of the C-Tender 40 is now even more refined, elegant, and spacious. The Italian shipyard chose the most prestigious showcase in the industry, the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, to present it as a world premiere, unveiling the first images of the new version of its smallest boat. The C-Tender 40 is part of a family with three larger siblings: the C44, C53, and C60. These tenders have gained great popularity among the most discerning yacht owners, including the renowned designer Valentino Garavani, who chose the C-Tender 40 for his Blue One. However, the yacht purchased by the fashion icon was the last model of the previous version. Today, C-Tender has completely revamped the line, retaining its distinctive features while introducing significant improvements.

The new C-Tender 40 boasts a more modern look and, most importantly, it is now a walkaround boat, unlike the first generation of the line. Its dimensions remain unchanged compared to its predecessor, but the aesthetic and comfort innovations are remarkable, starting with the two large windows and the full-height cabin, which stands at an impressive two meters. Moreover, there is a second single cabin, allowing up to four people to be accommodated on board in just 11.90 meters in length and 3.85 meters in width. The boat also includes a toilet with a shower. Overall, the boat can be customized according to the owner’s every desire, thanks to the shipyard’s configurator.

“We have worked to introduce improvements that will make a difference – says Daniele Maschio, one of the two co-founders of C Tender – Overall, the below-deck space has increased by about 40% compared to the previous version”. But the innovations don’t stop there: one feature that Mr. Maschio proudly showcases is the retractable bench located in front of the aft table, which is also retractable. “They can be raised and lowered in just a few seconds, transforming the C-Tender 40 from a boat ideal for enjoying a comfortable meal into a party boat for having fun with friends”, the designer points out. The accessory is offered as an option, but we have no doubt it will be hard to pass up.

As for the engine options, the C-Tender 40 can be poweted by two outboards or two inboards with sterndrives, available in both diesel and gasoline version. In the first case, the power ranges from 200 to 440 horsepower; in the second, it reaches up to 450 horsepower. The top speed declared by the shipyard is 45 knots.
