The Cannes Yachting Festival raises the nautical bar higher again this year and announces, as usual “The most eclectic boat show in the world”. The International Yachting Media returns to officiate the nautical ritual of the République on the Côte d’Azur and does so in its capacity as Official Media Partner. It will be present on the catwalk with all six of its digital publications that disseminate yacht and superyacht information worldwide in no less than five languages. At the Cannes Yachting Festival, the official media partnership of the Group founded by Luca D’Ambrosio responds well to an absolute need and does so by fulfilling in full its mission to internationalise nautical information publishing.
The International Yachting Media, the official partnership
At the Cannes Yachting Festival, The International Yachting Media will be on the ground in the pavilions and at sea for yacht trials. The editorial team gets hands-on the boats, observing how the force of the sea reacts to the craftsmanship of the shipyards. Safety checks and analysis of on-board equipment: primary nautical information only finds its original source on these occasions. The main aim is to continue a diligent journalistic activity, which sees the publisher in the forefront as the most followed multilingual marine publisher on a global scale. It has a readership that visits it at least 900,000 times a week.
The Cannes Yachting Festival confirms The International Yachting Media‘s ever-growing commitment to unceasingly covering information relating to yachting industry and its allied sectors. Of course, reporting on social networks, of which the publishing group makes extensive use, also contributes. Together with this there is the famous Boating News app, a highly usable information nerve centre on the move from which all six of the Group’s publications can be accessed.
The Cannes Yachting Festival will have two locations
Two locations have been chosen for the French-speaking Mediterranean yachting festival: Vieux Port and Port Canto. The International Yachting Media will be constantly at work documenting the best of yachting in the eyes of enthusiasts. In the old Vieux Port, 450 motorboats ranging in size from three to forty-five meters will be moored. Five hundred meters of dockland will host premieres of the best international shipyards. At Port Canto, opposite the Croisette, the masts of the sailing yachts will stand: 108 boats from ten to thirty-five meters will outline the entire sailing horizon of the Cannes Yachting Festival. Six hundred shiny hulls in total, 430 exhibitors, and 140 previews that sum up to a 10% increase in boats over 2019. Due to Covid-19, the Cannes Yachting Festival returns after its forced hiatus in 2020 but does so safely by shaking off all the necessary devices. The Cannes Yachting Festival can only be entered with documentary proof of swab, vaccine, or recovery from the virus.
Amplifying the events, novelties and surprises on the programme, plus interviews giving a live account of the shipyards’ feelings at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the signature is that of a leader in the nautical world: The International Yachting Media.
