Cantiere del Pardo obtains “Great Place to Work” certification

Cantiere del Pardo, a leading company in the production and marketing of sailboats under the renowned Grand Soleil Yachts brand, and powerboats under the prestigious Pardo Yachts and VanDutch Yachts brands, reached two important milestones this year: it celebrated its 50th anniversary and became the first boatyard in Italy to obtain the prestigious “Great Place to Work” certification.

The certification process was carried out by providing all Cantiere del Pardo‘s employees, with an overall response of 78%, with an anonymous questionnaire that allowed the Great Place to Work certifying company to analyse the answers linked to five fundamental pillars: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Cohesion.

Every year, Great Place to Work gathers experiences from more than 150,000 people in Italy and more than 5 million worldwide. With its survey platform and specialized consulting services offered, any company with more than 10 employees can easily and accessibly analyze the company climate and employees’ level of satisfaction with the work environment.

Meticulous analysis based on organizational climate, analysis of human resources policies and comparison with the best practices of the most successful companies provides precise tools for improving the company, people’s well-being and the business as a whole.

Of course, the results obtained from the “Great Place to Work” certification for Cantiere del Pardo have been extremely positive, but the goal is to carefully examine areas of focus and identify improvement opportunities specific to each department with the ultimate goal of providing real added value to its growth.

We chose to rely on Great Place to Work – explained Riccardo Mellina Gottardo, HR Business Partner – to perform an objective assessment of our reality, with the aim of giving a voice to our employees, who were able to express their opinion in complete freedom. The goal is not just to take a snapshot of the current state of the company, but to investigate the areas where we are weakest and to take action so that we can improve and grow together”.

Employees are our real strength, those who enable us to pursue every day the values of quality and tradition that have always distinguished us – said Fabio Planamente, CEO of Cantiere del Pardo – Their views and satisfaction are clearly at the heart of the growth process we are experiencing”.

The “Great Place to Work” certification represents an important achievement for Cantiere del Pardo, confirming its commitment to creating an excellent working environment and promoting the well-being of its employees. An achievement that places the company at the forefront of the Italian boating industry, proving its ability to combine quality, tradition and attention to people, without losing sight of its business results.
