If you don’t want to destroy another smartphone during your boat holidays, that’s what you need.
CAT (Caterpillar) S 60 is, in fact, drop-proof to 1.8m and it can survive depths of up to 5 metres for an hour. So, you can easily recover it in all harbours and roadsteads where boats are generally docked.
It is reinforced with a strengthened die cast frame provided with MIL-Spec 810 G military specification. A Gorilla Glass 4 glass protects its 4.7-inch-display. It can take underwater photos and videos and its touchscreen can be used even with wet fingers. Its main camera is 13 Mp and provided with double flashbulb, while the frontal one is 5 MP. It can survice from -25° up to 55° C.
Moreover, CAT 60 is provided with a rear thermal imaging camera using MSX technology, a Flir exclusive (a brand yachtsmen certainly know well since it owns Raymarine, too). This is the only case where thermal imaging is available on a smartphone.
CAT 60 is Dual Sim and it lives on an Android system- Marshmallow version. It has a Snapdragon 615 main processor and a RAM of 3 GB. Its screen has a resolution of 1280×720 pixel, the inner memory is 32 GB (expandable) and its battery is 3800 mAh. It is 73.4 x 147.9 x 12.9 mm (so, not too big) and it weights 223 grams.
