CMC Marine returns to the Cannes Yachting Festival, Europe’s most important boat show, scheduled to take place from 6 to 11 September. At CMC Marine’s booth, visitors will be able to admire the brand’s various products as installed on an increasing number of mega yachts all over the world from the historical Stabilis Electra range (the world’s first electrically-actuated stabilizer fin system, launched in 2009 and intended for yachts of 18 metres and up) to the Dualis Electra thrusters, from the Directa steering gear to the ultra-compact Waveless stabilizers. A special feature of these products is the possibility of integrating them both with each other and with third-party systems.
All the lines
on display at the booth feature compact dimensions, quieter operation, reduced weight and simple installation, the main strengths brought to the market by the Tuscan company established in 2005 on the initiative of Alessandro Cappiello.
One of the most important areas of work for the CMC Marine R&D department over the last decade has been the integration of multiple stabilization and control systems, such as the combined use of fin stabilizers, bow thrusters and intruders controlled by the same platform: the range of products on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival is a perfect example of this, because they can be integrated to achieve a significant improvement in performance. This possibility also extends to systems supplied by other brands, which CMC Marine integrates successfully with its own to deliver significant benefits in terms of responsiveness, seakeeping, manoeuvrability and reduced fuel consumption.
The CMC Marine stand will also feature a navigation simulator, which will be used to offer a “virtual” cruising experience that illustrates the strong link between stability and well-being on board. In fact, cruising in total comfort with as little pitch and roll as possible is increasingly becoming a deal-breaking demand from owners of all ages and in all geographical areas, who want to experience the sea as sustainable as possible using electrically operated products that have less impact on the environment.
With its presence in Cannes, CMC Marine grows and consolidates its position as market leader in the industrial segment of stabilisation systems, steering gears and bow thrusters for yachts and passenger vessels over 16 metres, the result of more than twenty years of experience that has made the Tuscan company appreciated all over the world for its accurate design and ability to guarantee the performance of its products.
CMC Marine will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 6-22, booth 037 – Palais Festival. Find out more at:www.cmcmarine.com.
