2016 is a special year for Custom Line, a brand belonging to Ferretti Group. In fact, it celebrates its 20th anniversary and, after its new Navetta 37 which will be launched next summer, it announces its new project, Navetta 42, the biggest Custom Line boat never built before, which will be launched in 2018.
The planning of the new model is the result of the collaboration between Zucconi Studio, the Product Strategy Committe of Ferretti Group and the Engineering Department of the group.
Navetta 42 will have 4 large decks in order to give more space to the shipowner and his guests. As for the entire Custom Line’s superyachts range, Navetta 42 will be totally customizable by the shipowner, as regards both interiors and exteriors.
A possibility of customization which will have some sticking points. Like, for example, the shipowner’s suite on the main deck, 4 guest cabins or 5 guest suites on the lower deck.
The captain will have a wide fore area on the upper deck, with a private cabin with direct entrance to the pilot house, while the crew zone, on the lower deck, can be arranged to host up to 7 people.
Interiors arrangement, like on Navetta 37, is the result of a detailed study. The aim is to combine the highest level of privacy for guests with the greatest possibility of movement for the captain and crew.
An impressive aspect is the presence of a real fore beach club at the sea level, completely conceived for guests. The new launch and hauling system for tenders and water toys emphasizes the playful fonction of the area.
Custom Line Navetta 42 can be equipped with 5 different propeller couples, from 1,400 Mhp to 1,825 Mhp. The boat will reach an autonomy of over 3,000 miles at a cheap cruising speed of 10 knots.
