Evo Yachts is a young but already successful reality in Europe. Its first boat, Evo 43, has been greatly appreciated by the market, buyers and journalists. We, too, as you can read in the article about our complete sea trial, like her very much. This 13-metre-boat astonishes for her original project, her ability to transform herself and create living spaces where they seem not to exist.
In the wake of such a success in Old Continent, the Evo Marine’s managers have decided to cross the ocean and join Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. And there, we met Marina D’Alessandro, Communication Manager of the group.
We’ve high, very high expectations. Yes, it’s true, this is the first time we’ve met this market but we find it an excellent boat, both in terms of design and functionality, for all those who sail here. Since the beginning of the event, Evo 43 has received many visits.
What are the main differences between the American model and the European one?
One among our strengths is the possibility to custom-make our boats, so it was not difficult for us to imagine a product which was good for the American market. First, we added a BBQ; then, a microwave, an icemaker and a more powerful air conditioning system provided with two different circuits for the two cabins. We also changed the electric system, now 330 Volt, and embedded the central units. Moreover, we adjusted the circuits in order to make the use of microwave possible and added an extractor for the technical locker, considering the higher temperatures here.
