We can confirm it: the new Magazzù M16 is much more than just a Maxi-Rib. It is rather a work of art in motion, a perfect symbiosis between form and function. The International Yachting Media is pleased to exclusively show you on YachtingNews the very first photos underway of the new 55-foot masterpiece from the Sicilian shipyard, which has already recorded quite interesting results from the first tests: its performance is indeed around 40 knots, which is quite impressive for a boat powered by the two Volvo Penta IPS 800 engines it is equipped with.
In the yachting sector, few boats have the power to enchant sea lovers with their combination of luxury, performance, and timeless design, and among these, we can certainly start to count the Magazzù M16. The technical launch of this large Maxi-Rib took place last December, and from that moment it was clear that it was facing a vessel capable of dominating the waters with a distinctive presence and exemplary navigational ability.
With its sharp and sleek lines, the Magazzù M16 stands out as a motorboat with a sophisticated and cutting-edge design, boasting a perfect longitudinal trim of the hull and a lightness both in aesthetics and substance. To realize this, one only needs to pause and admire the glass inserts, which not only break the rigid tubular—in a choice of great aesthetic mastery—but also flood the interiors with natural light.
For the very first time, we are able to showcase to the public the interior of the Magazzù M16. Until now, indeed, the shipyard had maintained the utmost secrecy about this important part of the boat. As can be seen from the images, the two luxurious cabins, each with en suite facilities, are huge and sophisticated, offering an intimate and comfortable space that allows for envisioning even multi-day cruises aboard this jewel.
The walkaround deck plan exploits the nearly five meters of width and 55 feet of length to create a unique and incomparable environment, the centerpiece of which is the enormous hard-top, accommodating four forward-facing seats and extending to cover the galley, equipped with a refrigerator and grill, thanks to the addition of an electric awning. The bow accommodates a second lounge area, also shaded, which, just like on superyachts, is able to host both a second sunbathing area and a living area with opposing sofas.
