Garcia Yachting is one of the most innovative producers of high quality comfortable aluminium blue water boats. Last year, it presented two models of the new Exploration range: Exploration 45, conceived together with Jimmy Cornell, a sailor and the inventor of Arc (the transatlantic regatta which has been taking place every year since 1986) and 52.
Now, it’s the turn of Explocat 52. For the first time, the production of a multihull, conceived as a transoceanic boat to sail with great comfort and without any limits.
Its aluminium hulls have two fore crash boxes and watertight bulkheads; the big fuel and water tanks underline its envy to sail without limits. Inside, a technical room, like in all the best blue water cruisers.
The covered hall is on the same floor than the astern cockpit and the fore one, which is more and more used on catamarans for an additional open-air zone. Interiors can have three or four cabins.
The project has been developed by the architect Pierre Delion in collaboration with Garcia Yachting. There are many possibilities of customization, which is are on big catamarans.
