It’s the night between 9th and 10th August when a violent squall hits Ibiza coasts. A terrible cloudburst comes just a little minutes before a 45-knot wind.
Unfortunately, the violent storm strands many among the boats at anchor in Cala Saona and causes extensive damage.

In the neighboring Porroig, the river floods destroying the popular “Es Torrent” restaurant at the beach.
We’re receiving and publishing many videos. Fortunately, no injuries among crews of the boat involved have been reported.
