GANZ BOATS PRESENTS THE OVATION 7.6 OPEN

GANZ BOATS PRESENTS THE OVATION 7.6 OPEN: THE EUROPE’S MOST BEAUTIFUL DESIGN COMES FROM SWITZERLAND

The Europe’s most beautiful design in the field of boat industry comes from a country that doesn’t have a sea. The absence of large extends of water is not a limit for Ganz Boats that, in its Lake Zurich-based production site, manufacturers very beautiful sporty yachts. And this is not just our view but a fact officially certified by prestigious awards.

In 2016, in fact, the Ovation 7.6 won the “European Product Design Award”, establishing herself as the Europe’s coolest yacht. Furthermore, this year, Ganz Boats has received a special mention at German Design Awards which represents another important accolade.

Driven by these excellent achievements, the Swiss shipyard has recently decided to enlarge its own range through the creation of a new model. The decision also comes from the relatively limited availability of products, considering that the brand has been manufacturing  motorboats for ten years after building over 500 sailboats in about 30 years.

Hence the desire to replicate the success of the Ovation 7.6 with a new creation named Ganz Ovation 7.6 Open, a 8-metre open model suitable for family trips.

The new boat features all the characteristics that have enabled the brand to gain international acceptance. The hydraulically-operated transom can be easily converted into a nice swimming platform that makes it easier to climb aboard after a refreshing dip. The flush walking surface – the same in all models – allows passengers to go from the stern to the steering console without having to walk up and down and without disturbing guests who are sunbathing.

Like the other Ganz boats, the new Ovation 7.6 Open, too, is equipped with a Touchboat management system developed by the yard in collaboration with Raymarine. This way, the owner can control navigation functions via a unique multifunction display.

Key innovations from other Ganz models are now complemented by additional technical refinements to offer an even more luxurious and exhilarating driving experience.

Of course, the shipyard has paid special attention to two essential aspects: safety and comfort. The transom, for example, can be closed in order to significantly reduce the risk of falling overboard. This is a precious solution specifically conceived for families sailing with kids.

Furthermore, the retractable backrest and the comfortable guest seats in the bow contribute to improve the comfort standards of this boat.

The Ganz Ovation 7.6 Open will be fitted with a diesel/gasoline engine outputting from 300 up to 430 Hp.

As a result, the boat will be not only beautiful but also highly performing and functional.

Are you curious to test her? We, too, we admit it.
