Official presentation in Genoa of the 56th Boat Show scheduled for next September 20-25th. Beyond some rivalries between the main Italian marine industry associations, news about the overall boatingsecotr and the event itself are encouraging.
Data report an increase in the Italian marine industry of 12% in 2015 and an expected growth of about 7.5% for 2016. Accessories and motors(in particular, outboards selling has reported a growth of 40%) seem to be the leading sectors.
Enrollments to the 56th edition of Genoa Boat Show report +21% compared to the same date in 2015, while 57% of exhibitors have increased their investment. It should be stressed that some legendary brands will return to Genoa, such as: Princess Yachts, Canados, Chantiers Amel, Fjord, Gagliotta, Innovazione e Progetti, Najad, Rodman, Sealine, 3B Craft, Tornado Yachts, Cantiere Cranchi.
In particular, thanks to the return of foreign shipyards and the increase in investments by exhibitors, sailing sector grows by 5% with an average boat size which increases by 19%. 120 events already scheduled and a special glance into the future. The 56th Genoa Boat Show will be, in fact, dedicated to the Olympic Italy and the support to Rome 2024 nomination.
