Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid, the new flagship to debut in Cannes

Greenline Yachts has always prioritized environmental sustainability, and the new Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid is no exception. The new flagship from the Slovenian shipyard will be unveiled at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, and it is expected to capture the market’s attention, just as Greenline’s previous models have. The event will take place from September 10th to 15th at Quai St Pierre, where visitors to the French boat show will have the opportunity to experience the new vessel first-hand.

The Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid is an ultra-efficient yacht equipped with Greenline’s new-generation H-Drive hybrid propulsion, demonstrating how maximum comfort can perfectly coexist with responsible yachting. Greenline Yachts has led the transition to hybrid propulsion for over 15 years, so they have had the time to refine the performance of their drive systems. The latest innovation is the 6G unit, which is even more efficient than its predecessors.

The performance data is impressive. The Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid offers a range of 20 nautical miles in silent electric mode, with speeds up to 6 knots. In the typical usage cycle of a Greenline yacht, the hybrid system can reduce emissions by up to 40% per year. On top of the boat, the 4kW solar system allows for long days and nights at anchor without having to turn on a noisy generator. Thanks to the capabilities of solar energy and onboard batteries, the boat offers up to three days at anchor without a generator; and if air conditioning is not needed, the time extends practically indefinitely.

Greenline Yachts’ new 6G H-Drive draws on 16 years of constant development – said owner and MD Vladimir ZinchenkoWe’ve been in this game since our launch, so our yachts are miles ahead of the competition when it comes to efficient hybrid propulsion and silent hotellerie. We’re excited to be showcasing the technology alongside our concept of Responsible Yachting at Cannes through our flagship model: the Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid”.

Alongside the Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid, Greenline Yachts will also be showing two of its best-selling models at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Both the Greenline 48 Coupe and the Greenline 45 Fly will be on the stand in Cannes’ iconic Vieux Port. Both hugely successful models have sold more than 100 units, and they neatly illustrate Greenline’s two different superstructure options: the sleek Coupe variant and the luxurious Fly.

What’s more, they are both available with a range of engine options that include Yanmar’s new HVO-ready diesels. This allows the two yachts to burn more sustainable HVO fuel, derived from waste vegetable oil. It is being rolled out across marine hotspots and offers the possibility of radically reducing carbon emissions at no cost to performance. It is another facet of Greenline Yachts’ commitment to Responsible Yachting.
