Greenline 58 Fly to debut at Cannes Yachting Festival 2023

A new model is about to expand the range of the Slovenian hybrid and electric yacht builder: Greenline 58 Fly is being world premiered at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival 2023.

Just below the flagship Greenline 68 OC, the new Greenline 58 Fly model takes the lead over the other boats in the range between 39 and 48 feet. Although reminiscent of the Greenline 45 Fly, the latest addition is distinguished by some noticeable differences in design and innovation.

While the exterior lines are not very different from those of the previous models, one detail immediately catches the attention: the Greenline 58 Fly features an upper deck covered by a hard top, which is not only “different” from its predecessors, but also plays a key function in the solar recharging that lies at the heart of the Slovenian shipyard’s philosophy.

At the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, which will be held in the beautiful French Riviera from September 12-16, Greenline Yachts will be present at booths QSP 016 Water and QSP 123 Land at the Vieux Port to showcase the new 58-foot yacht and the new 6G H-Drive hybrid drive system. The shipyard will also exhibit a 40-foot model with 6G H-Drive, and a Greenline 45 Fly 6G H-Drive.

“The 58 Fly embodies Greenline’s dedication to craftsmanship and sustainable innovation. As we navigate the future of yachting, our goal remains to offer our customers luxury and eco-conscious experiences. It is not just about building boats, but creating a legacy of respect for the oceans we explore,” says Greenline Yachts CEO Vladimir Zinchenko.

The design of the new Greenline 58 Fly features clean lines and functional elements, such as the single-level main deck, and the aft galley: convenient and useful especially in summer. The result of a collaboration between Greenline Yachts, Marco Casali of Too Design and MICAD engeneering, the layout of this model is flexible and can be adapted to meet different requirements.

The cockpit area can be easily transformed into a large relaxation area, the stern platform is hydraulic and capable of lifting up to 500 kg, the Flybridge then offers a second helm station, galley and sofas completely covered by a hard roof that serves not only to shelter from the sun or the elements, but also and above all, to recharge the batteries through the solar panels positioned on the surface.

“Following the success of the 45 Fly, with more than 50 units delivered to demanding owners, we are excited to present the 58 Fly. This model is not only an expansion of our fleet, but represents Greenline’s dedication to excellence and our vision for the future of yachting. Fusing innovation, luxury and sustainability, the 58 Fly is a testament to our brand’s commitment and the trust our customers place in us. It is a clear signal of our ambition to lead and inspire the maritime world,” says Luca Raumland, Greenline’s Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.

The interior of the Greenline 58 Fly includes three cabins, two bathrooms and two walk-in wardrobes: one for the owner’s suite and the other for the VIP cabin. If desired, the guest cabin can be replaced by a fully equipped office space with built-in monitor and printer.

From a sustainability and energy autonomy point of view, the Greenline 58 Fly is equipped with 10 solar panels that generate 4kW of power at peak time. Equipped with the new 6G H-Drive hybrid system, it will be powered by two 25kW engines combined with two 715hp Cummins.

All boats are available diesel, hybrid or full electric. The owner of the Greenline 58 Fly can choose between two Cummins 715 hp diesel engines or Volvo Penta 1,000 hp engines in the diesel version only. The Cummins engines, on the other hand, will be able to be used in conjunction with Hybrid Drive, reaching a maximum speed of 25 knots and an electric cruising speed of 6 knots, with a range of 30 nautical miles depending on the batteries chosen.

After the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 it will be possible to see and test Greenline 58 Fly and Greenline 40 6G Hybrid at both the Genoa Boat Show (21 to 26 September 2023) and the Barcelona Boat Show (11 to 15 October 2023).
