Guidi closes another positive year with a +10% increase in turnover

A +10% increase in turnover compared to the same period last year and encouraging results from the newly founded Guidi America Inc. These are the achievements celebrated by Guidi Srl at Metstrade in Amsterdam, the exhibition held last November 15-17, where the historic Italian company specializing in marine accessories participated with its own booth. The presence at the Dutch event meant for Guidi Srl the crowning achievement of another year of outstanding achievements and steady growth, accompanies by important innovations in its production line.

Guidi ‘s exceptional 2023

Figures give an idea of the ongoing development of the company, which in the first ten months of 2023 recorded a +10% increase in turnover compared to the same period last year Geographically speaking, the distribution of shares between Italy and abroad is very balanced, but in recent months the domestic market has risen again, testifying to the excellent health of the Italian boating industry.

Also encouraging are the successes of the newly established Guidi America Inc. Last month, the company announced its landing in the U.S. with the opening of a new company based in Florida; in its first weeks of operation, Guidi America has seen good order intake and excellent customer appreciation among both shipyards and boat owners. To make itself known to the U.S. public, the U.S. subsidiary had participated in a major b2b yachting trade show, the Ibex in Tampa, Florida, held last October.

Returning to Italy, and in particular to Grignasco (Novara) where Guidi is headquartered, work is still underway to expand the company’s production facility, which in the coming months will provide additional space up to a total of 840 square meters, mostly used for receiving semi-finished products, production and warehousing.

At Metstrade in Amsterdam, Guidi Srl exhibited in its traditional booth location within the Italian companies’ pavilions, at Hall 12, booth 220. Specifically, Guidi exhibited its entire production of valves, filters, sea intakes and marine accessories.

“The Metstrade is a key moment of contact with both customers and the global distributor network,” says Daniele Guidi, Quality & Sustainability Manager at Guidi Srl. “In Amsterdam we wanted to further promote our presence abroad, strengthened by the added value that the new American company can give on that market, which is fundamental for us. At the same time we are working on R&D to launch new products, as well as on processes and logistics, including in-house, in order to make production more and more efficient and deliveries faster.”
