ICE62, the evolution of the Targa is even more dynamic and sporty

A state-of-the-art boat designed by Felci Yacht Design, promising exceptional performance and an unparalleled sailing experience. We are talking about the new ICE62, a more dynamic and sporty version of the renowned ICE Targa that has captivated the sailboat market.

The ICE62 was launched a few days ago by ICE Yachts in a world premiere and represents the second model in the range. Designed to ensure an even more elegant sailing experience with improved performance, the ICE62 builds on the success of its predecessor, the ICE Targa, and aims to redefine the parameters of luxury, comfort, and innovation in the Fast Cruiser sector.

Looking at the first renderings, it is clear that we are witnessing the embodiment of sportiness at sea. The ICE62 combines the elegant lines of the ICE62 Targa with the dynamic essence of the ICE60 and ICE70. With a cutting-edge design by Felci Yacht Design and production in the historic CN Yacht 2000 facilities, known for the construction of over 80 prestigious maxi yachts, this new model promises extraordinary performance and an unmatched sailing experience.

On the hydrodynamics front, the features of the new ICE62 promise exceptional performance. The waterlines and appendages have been designed to optimize performance, allowing the boat to sail upwind at very tight angles and to plane quickly at high speeds. With a maximum beam of 5.20 meters and flat, powerful aft sections, the ICE62 offers superior stability and unprecedented planing capability.

Supporting these extraordinary performances are cutting-edge technologies and top-level craftsmanship, the result of years of sailing expertise that only Umberto Felci can boast. The result is impressive: with a weight of only 19 tons, 25% lighter than the average in its category, and a sail area of nearly 220 square meters upwind and about 450 square meters downwind, the ICE62 offers a perfect balance between lightness and power. The solidity and robustness of the vessel are ensured by its fiberglass and carbon structure, laminated with advanced technologies and subjected to rigorous quality controls.

The deck design, also by Felci Yacht Design, combines elegance and functionality. Aft of the helm stations, there is a spacious relaxation area that offers direct access to the sea through the openable transom, which serves as a beach platform and entrance to the large tender garage (3.20 meters without deflating). The cockpit, spacious and comfortable, hosts a large dining table and offers protection during navigation, while the large side windows enhance interaction with the external environment, making life on board even more pleasant and bright.

The new ICE62 offers a spacious and versatile layout, with ample interior and exterior spaces designed for maximum comfort and relaxation. Thanks to its innovative features and advanced technologies, the ICE62 is ready to amaze sea lovers and attract new enthusiasts worldwide.
