International Multihull Show 2025, 11 world premieres and 4 European debuts. Here’s what to expect

More than 80 boats on display, including 11 world premieres, 4 European debuts, and a French national premiere. These are the key figures for the upcoming edition of the International Multihull Show, set to take place from April 23 to 27, 2025, in the heart of La Grande Motte. This highly anticipated event isn’t just about the impressive number of boats—it will also showcase the show’s fresh new look, thanks to a major renovation of the port, a central hub for both the city and the exhibition, carried out in recent months.

Registration is now closed, and the number of exhibited boats has hit an all-time high, with a remarkable lineup of premieres. Among the sailing catamarans making their world debut are the Portofino Cat 47, the Tortue 147 by Cataruga, and the Seaview 59 by Heysea Yachts. There’s also plenty of buzz surrounding the Seawind 1370, which will be presented to the European market for the first time. As for power catamarans, the International Multihull Show will see the exclusive debuts of the hybrid-powered SunMare 50 by Croisière Exclusive and the Omaya 50. European premieres include the Aquila 50 and the Aquila 42 Coupé by Aquila Power Catamarans, a U.S. brand that’s revolutionizing the power catamaran segment. These two models will also introduce the innovative Hydro Glide Foil System, which boosts engine efficiency by 35%.

The YachtingNews and The International Yachting Media editorial team will be on-site in La Grande Motte, covering these and many more exciting updates live.

Another major highlight at this year’s International Multihull Show is a brand-new layout concept. Organizers have created a dedicated powercat marina, exclusively showcasing motor multihulls, with an impressive lineup of 16 to 20 boats, aiming to attract a fresh wave of buyers. Meanwhile, the sailing catamaran sector is reaching a record-breaking attendance, with over 60 units expected on display.

In addition to the boats on the water, the organizers are introducing a new demonstration area dedicated to smaller boats, water toys, tenders, and electric motors. Some models will even be available for sea trials, offering visitors a truly immersive and unique experience. The 2025 edition of the International Multihull Show also marks a significant increase in the presence of international shipyards, as well as a complete redesign of the “Design and Innovation” area, a visitor favorite.

As the world’s leading event in the multihull category and a key exhibition for the international boating industry, the International Multihull Show faces major challenges. To strengthen its position, the Fédération des Industries Nautiques has restructured its subsidiary M2O, which manages the event’s organization. This includes the appointment of Christophe Vieux as General Manager, alongside Show Director Caroline Popovici and Anaïs David, Head of Sales and Customer Relations.

Caroline Popovici commented: ” The International Multihull Show is a highly anticipated event that we must continue to develop. This year, we will have more sailing multihulls and more power multihulls. We are delighted by the trust placed in us by shipyards, charter companies, and the multihull industry as a whole, as well as by our local partners, with whom we work closely”.
