The Invictus TT550 is a 17-meter yacht with spacious interior and exterior areas, designed by Christian Grande as an evolution of the TT460. Its world debut will take place at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival this autumn.
Invictus TT550
Not just one flagship, but two. The Aschenez shipyard, owner of the Invictus Yacht brand, is introducing a new vessel alongside the Invictus ST550: the Invictus TT550. While the former draws inspiration from classic trawlers, the latter enhances the TT range, already well represented by the TT460.
With a length of 16.87 meters and a beam of 5.04 meters, the Invictus TT550 becomes the new flagship of the TT range, revisiting the best features of the TT460 to further enhance the yachting experience.
“Invictus TT550 was born from the vision of owners who, admiring the beauty of the smaller TT460, envisioned—even before we did—the possibility of translating that style and those lines into a larger model. A boat that amplifies the distinctive features of the range, enhancing the brand’s ability to optimize space and harmonize new materials and colors for a truly unique boating experience”, says Rosario Alcaro, General Manager of Invictus Yacht.
Invictus TT550: where luxury meets the essence of the Mediterranean spirit
The mantra of designer Christian Grande and his team was to enhance the connection with the sea, prioritizing outdoor spaces with fold-down side terraces that allow guests to fully immerse themselves in the surrounding environment. However, Christian Grande has preserved the signature semi-reverse bow, a distinctive feature of all Invictus Yachts.
The living area is an open space designed for total relaxation and comfort at any time of the day. A highlight is the aft sofa with a reclining backrest, which transforms into an inviting sunbed. The garage is structured to allow access without disturbing those unwinding in the living area.
The carbon fiber hardtop of the Invictus TT550 is twice the size of that on the TT460, extending to shelter the dinette and galley up to the helm station.
A protected walkway with high bulwarks provides easy access to the bow lounge, which can be enjoyed both while cruising and during the day. In the evening, it transforms into a romantic seafront retreat, enhanced by warm ambient lighting that traces the entire perimeter of the yacht.
“Invictus TT550 is the quintessential Mediterranean yacht, rather than just a luxury tender for high-end residences with private docks. It’s the ideal boat for those who want to cruise in close contact with the sea, where the interiors, while important, are secondary. It maintains its sporty character without sacrificing the luxury and comfort of a yacht”, states Rosario Alcaro.
Invictus TT550: custom interiors
Below deck, Christian Grande has designed two cabins (Master and VIP, with the option for the owner to choose the layout—either forward or amidships—together with two bathrooms. In response to the owner’s wishes, a cozy mid-ship living area can also be replaced with a third cabin or a galley. An optional crew cabin is available as well.
Invictus TT550 will be powered by a pair of Volvo Penta IPS engines, up to the IPS950 version.
World premiere at Cannes Yachting Festival 2025
After the participation at the Dubai International Boat Show last February, the official debut of the two new Invictus Yacht flagships will occur at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, from September 9 to 14, 2025.
“Invictus TT550, along with the ST550, marks the start of a new era: two models that may seem similar at first glance, but are, in reality, quite different in terms of layout, target markets, and spirit of navigation”, concludes Rosario Alcaro.
