New LTN Diamond 34 is among the most long-awaited news of the next Genoa Boat Show. Some weeks ago, we showed you some exclusive photos. But now, together with LTN and Suzuki Marine Italia, we have arranged a particular stress test which will allow us to really understand this boat and her performances.
Before getting Genoa, in fact, Diamond will sail off from Sicilian coasts and she will cross the Sardinian coasts, Corsica and the island of Elba. In total, over 500 miles and three days that Boatandboats, flanked by LTN and Suzuki’s teams, will tell you daily on our social channels. It’s not a simple test; rather, a real raid throughout the whole Tyrrhenian.
If weather is good, we’ll leave tomorrow from Marsala to Arbatax (185 miles). On Thursday 15, we’ll sail off from the Sardinian city to Olbia (65 miles), where we’ll meet Sea Motor, a local Suzuki’s dealer, and we’ll have a stop at lunch. In early afternoon, we’ll leave to Elba (about 110 miles). On Friday morning, we’ll meet another Suzuki’s dealer, Nautica Lo Scoglietto, in Portoferraio, then we’ll have lunch and, finally, we’ll leave to Genoa in the early afternoon (120 miles).
Diamond 34 is 10.36 metres long and 2.98 metres wide and she’s the new flagship of Aluminum Series of the yard run by Ezio Agazzi and Giulio Sottocornola. She joins Venom 26, whose test was published last July. Aluminium range takes its place alongside that one including smaller fiberglass modesl, from 18 to 21 feet.
As usual, the yard renews its collaboration with Suzuki (they will exhibit together at Genoa Boat Show) and the first Diamond 34 is pushed by a couple of DF 300 AP engines.
Moreover, Genoa Boat Show will be the occasion for Suzuki to reveal two great news for the next season.
