The 11th unit of Mangusta 165 series, the current flagship of Mangusta Maxi Open, was launched last week.
Mangusta 165 E ( “E” like “Evolution“) is a 50-metre fast comfortable yacht which enriches the already successful Overmarinre range and she’s the result of the great excitement the yard is experiencing in this period.
This 11th unit includes a significant number of stylish and technical innovations, such a more muscly and aggressive lines, a full-glazing window in the saloon which offers a greater visibility while letting natural light flood interiors and a long flybridge, provided with an astern aesthetic grill for a further dynamic thrust.
The propulsion package envisages 4 MTU 16V2000 M94 2600 HP engines, 4 Rolls Royce/KameWa NP water-jets and 4 Seakeeper stabilizers: the result is a better weight/power ratio, inverter functionality on demand, a larger and more efficient engine room and better performances. Performances are similar to those of the previous model but with a lower consumption. The stabilization system is so efficient while sailing that it even allows to use the boat at a displacing speed already at 8-10 knots, always in total comfort.
Like all Mangusta boats, interiors are totally custom-made and they result from a fruitful collaboration between the Art Department of the Group and the owner’s team. The yacht will be delivered to his owner next January with an official ceremony
