MAZU YACHTS WILL DEBUT 3 NEW AMAZING MODELS AT CANNES SHOW

The Turkish shipyard Mazu Yachts will have three new amazing models have their debut at the next Cannes Yachting Festival in September: the 38 soft top, the 38 open and the42 walk around.

Following the tradition of the manufacturer, all three boats are very versatile and can be used for comfortable cruises or as luxury tenders of larger yachts thanks to the high level of customization offered by Mazu both in terms of layout and of furniture.

The Mazu 38 Soft Top

More specifically, the first boat, whose hull number one has been launched these days, is named Mazu 38 Soft Top. Designed by Halit Yukay, the boat has already been sold.

The designer has wanted to provide this model with sporty character and a real “military look”. In order to meet the specific owner’s needs, a real “Armani style enthusiast”, the shipyard decided to use a perfect combination of leathers and fabrics reproducing the work of the popular Italian stylist in terms of quality, design and colours. Moreover, in order to give volumes the maximum depth perception, a series of mirrors have been installed to create an interesting play of perspectives. Halit Yukay also designed a fantastic indoors lighting mood from the Italian supplier Cantalupi to enhance the Mazu 38’s dramatic feeling.

The Mazu 38 open

The boat is powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 400 engines that, according to shipyard engineers, would deliver a top speed of 34 knots.

Highlights of the new Mazu Yacht 38 Open include spacious interior and exteriors volumes and clever space arrangement, aimed to perform the best comfort on a 10-metre boat. Exterior layout is reminiscent of the typical style of a classic open boat but with more aggressive lines.

Hull colours are totally customizable and a wide range of colours and fabrics is available for interior furniture and decoration.

Interiors of the new Mazu Yachts 38 open

The boat is equipped with two small galleys (one indoor, the other open-air), both equipped with stoves, grill, oven, freezer and refrigeration in addition to a huge stowage compartment in the pantry. In order to fully enjoy stops at anchor, the open 38 has a bimini top which covers the whole cockpit and a deep aft swimming platform.

Made of carbon, the hull of the Mazu 38 Open is extremely resistant, light and high-performance. Powered by a Volvo IPS 400 engine, the boat should reach a top speed of 36 knots which can become 45 if powered by a Volvo IPS 600 engine.

The largest boat among the three new models which will debut in Cannes next September is the Mazu 42 Walk Around. With a length of almost 12 metres and a maximum beam of 3.70 metres, this boat is the full expression of the walk around philosophy. She is, in fact, equipped with a center console and a wide comfortable lateral passage that envelops all her walkable perimeter safely, even when sailing, thanks to the high bulwarks.

The stern hosts a large relaxation area and a sofa. An additional sofa has been installed before the center console, in the fore section.

On the transom, a very deep swimming platform creates a sort of large terrace, extremely pleasant when at anchor and particularly useful during the boarding/ disembarkation operations at the dock.

Two Volvo Penta IPS 600 435hp engines enable the Mazu 42 to reach a top and a cruising speed of 47 and 32 knots respectively.
