MCY 76 Skylounge : Monte Carlo Yachts unveils the second enclosed flybridge model
The common thread that unites the MCY 76 Skylounge and her predecessor is the enclosed, spacious and custom flybridge with a 360-degree view over the horizon. This aesthetic and functional solution, which is registering an increasingly important demand on the market, fits perfectly with the research, more current than ever, for privacy, safety and freedom.
Designed by the renowned Nuvolari Lenard design studio, with which the Monfalcone-based shipyard has been established a successful collaboration for years, the MCY 76 Skylounge fully embraces the concept of a yacht as a home-away-from-home to be experienced in every season with the possibility to enjoy high levels of comfort throughout the year.
The MCY 76 Skyounge stands out for her soft and horizontally-strechted lines that enhance the bow profile without exasperating it in height. At the stern, the large cockpit with large sofa and dining table is only a taste of the voluminous surfaces that develop on the main deck, where a solarium with generous dimensions extends forward.
Among the various custom options available, as evidence of the extreme structural flexibility of this superyacht, the is the possibility to install a galley in the stern (see picture below left) or in the bow (picture below right), keeping the lairy and bright lounge area intact. This abundance of movement on the main deck is also due to the fact that the helm station, equipped with state-of-the-art technological solutions, is located on the upper deck, thus freeing up additional space on the deck.
Even the interior decor makes use of a wide range of high-end fabrics and materials, all entirely custom and Made in Italy. The lower deck includes a master cabin in the middle, two VIP cabins and a double cabin in the bow, all with en-suite bathroom.
“We focused on designing a yacht capable of offering a close relationship with the sea as well as maximum comfort on a boat that can be experienced any time of the year – say designers Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard– The result is a boat that embodies a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics, making each day spent on board a pleasant and unique experience “.
