Although the official presentation will take place at Cannes next September, the first pictures of the new MCY 80 reveal all the good qualities and tradition of Monte Carlo Yachts, an Italian brand of the French Bénéteau Group. Above all, two features: concreteness and wishful design, combined with the typical Italian style.
The project started from the planning studio, where Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard, before transferring their ideas on advanced software systems, use their pencil and models on paper.
” With Monte Carlo Yachts – Nuvolari and Lenard explain – we always aim to the greatest space and comfort, without forgetting that we’re building a boat and not a villa. MCY 80 is a sensational fast yacht. We inspired to elegance and refinement and we transferred them from our drafts to the real product”.
The new 24-metre- model, the sixth yacht of the range from 65 to 105 feet, is at the third place of the collection for size and it is provided with harmonious exteriors, a fore area completely dedicated to amusement and an extraordinary Portuguese deck.
The real corner where the marriage between cosiness and luxury is evident is the flybridge, which can be equipped with a jacuzzi pool, a large coffee bar and sun beds.
Inside, both the main deck and cabins offer natural light and well-refined furniture, designed by Hermes, Armani Home and Minotti. The whitened brushed oak floor and many leather and stone details makes the atmosphere more elegant
“ We are very proud of the new MCY 80 – said Carla Demaria, the President of Monte Carlo Yachts – which completes MCY’s collection by offering an additional option for our customers. This is the sixth yacht in just as many years, a result which underlines our skill to invest into research and development, by aiming to beautiful and high-performance boats. MCY 80 expresses all this ideals and it pushes the design concept of the range to an upper level”
