Monte Carlo Yachts will exhibit three new models of the MCY Vision range at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Genoa International Boat Show: MCY 70, MCY 66 and MCY 76
The MCY70 was presented by Monte Carlo Yachts at Dusseldorf Boat Show last January. With a width of 5.45 meters and an overall length of 21.08 meters, the MCY70 is the first next-generation model of the MCY Collection designed in collaboration with the Nuvolari Lenard Design Studio.
Featuring geometric linear interior lines, the MCY 70 reproduces the same bright wide volumes than the MCY 66 and the MCY 76. A distinctive feature of the new yacht is the use of reflecting furnishings and lacquered surfaces that enhance and reflect the natural light within the interior spaces: a clear example of this can be found in the main salon where some glass-and-black marble countertops are matched with steel reflecting elements. The natural oak of flooring and vertical panels contrasts the bright walls and the fine fabrics.
The lounge is entirely customizable and the tables are served by an outdoor kitchen designed to enjoy open-air meals. Like the other two models launched in 2019, the flybridge and the carbon T-top offer a 360-degree view of the seascape.
The MCY 66 is the second model unveiled by Monte Carlo yachts in 2019 and follows the renovation of the MCY Collection.
With a width of 5.20 meters and an overall length of 20.11 meters, the MCY 66 is issued from a long-standing collaboration between the Italian shipyard and Nuvolari Lenard Design sStudio. Together, they have created even more elegant lines without sacrificing the iconic elements that have always characterized the MCY range.
One of the main distinctive features of this new model is represented by some large lights positioned on the topsides that contribute to increase the feeling of spaciousness while increasing both the space and the natural light available: this is particular clear on the main deck where the salon offers an uninterrupted space between the astern galley and the forward living area.
Even the flybridge is new. The MCY66, indeed, is designed to offer total communication between interiors and exteriors and the flybridge of the first clear example of that: the lateral supports and the chromed steel pillars support a carbon fiber T-top that guarantees a 360-degree view of the seascape.
As usual for Monte Carlo Yachts’ creations, the MCY66 is fitted with large portholes, both in the bow and the in master cabin. The Guest cabins are equipped with private bathrooms, as a further proof of the spacious volumes of the boat.
From furnishings to walls, this new model features fine materials, including elegant fabrics, natural stones and Made in Italy leather. Elements in glossy marble and copper emphasize the elegance of the interiors together with reflecting materials, mirrors and lacquered wood details that contribute to create extraordinarily bright spaces.
The MCY 76 was presented on July 9th in Porto Piccolo, in the Gulf of Trieste, Italy. It’s the third model announced by Monte Carlo Yachts for 2019 and, together with the MCY 70 and the MCY 66, marks the advent of the new generation of the MCY Classic range.
With a width of 5.75 meters and an overall length of 23.06 meters, the MCY 76, as the MCY 70 and the MCY66, was designed by Monte Carlo Yachts in co-operation with the Nuvolari Lenard design studio. Brightness and spacious interior volumes are the key features of this yacht.
The presence of multiple living spaces on the main deck enables individuals to relax on the comfortable sofas and armchairs, or dine on the spacious Carrara marble table.
The interiors are highlighted by three-dimensional decor elements combined with elegant and sophisticated pairing of fabrics and wood panels. White and grey pickled oak woods combined with lacquered and reflective details enrich the elegant interior design from the main deck all the way thorough the lobby. The large portholes make the interiors brighter and airier while the soft elegant lines of the exteriors of the MCY 76 guarantee a nice stay on board.
The Italian shipyard is scheduled to exhibit its 2019 entries at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from September 10th-15th, and the International Boat Show, from September 19th-24th. Fans and potential owners can admire the three models and the MCY 76 in particular that will debut in Cannes.
