The foiling mania is increasing. Look the start of the regatta for moth and foiling kite boats which took place last Subday at Charleston, in Southern Carolina, organized by James Island Yacht Club. A real show!
F2B race took place in Charleston from April 8th to 10th. It was a real sailing and foil festival. A three-day-event with a series of sprints and regattas among moth, kite and kite foil boats, windsurf, catamarans, skiffs. 84 the participants.
All participants had a chip for a precise time check on the finish line, in order to have results in real time.
The start you can see in the video below is one of the slaloms organized between moth and foilign kite boats. A mixed regatta which hadn’t never been seen before. And (this is ashonishing) with no collision, despite the very difficult conditions and strong winds (about 20/25 knots).
