Another important sign of strenght for Nuova Jolly and Aiello family who, after the announcement of many news for the next season, has just announced the purchasing of an important Italian brand, Naumatec, specialized in ribs production.
The shipbuilder from Carbonera, Italy, is specialized in luxury tenders and mega-yachts planning and production. Naumatec range includes about ten models, from 3.60 to 12 metres, provided with outboard petrol or diesel thrusters and advanced transmission systems. In the past, Naumatec also produced racing ribs for Endurance Championship (B Group).
“ This acquisition means a great opportunity to enlarge our offer – told Teo Aiello. We’ve had contacts with Naumatec for a long time and its founder, Federico Fiorentino, is an established designer who has already signed some models of ours. We took the opportunity to enter new markets on the right foot“.
Where will new Naumatec ribs be produced? “In our shipyard of Bussero, near Milano, even if we are considering the possibility to build a new structure, an atelier able to represent a brand specialized in custom-made top level models”.
Should we expect some new models soon? “Absolutely not, our range is already very rich, renewed and appreciated. There is no rush. We inherit an important client portfolio, which includes names like Benetti and Perini Navi and we don’t want to loose the great “know how” Naumatec has developed during its life“.
Where and when will we see the first Naumatec models exhibited under Nuova Jolly brand? “At Paris Boat Show next December. A strategic appointment for all ribs from all around the world”.
