INFLATABLE BOATS AND RIBS

Nuova Jolly: with Sergio Davì and his Prince 38 discovering the Italian Lighthouses

An exciting maritime adventure is about to get underway with renowned yachtsman Sergio Davì aboard his reliable Prince 38 to explore the evocative Italian lighthouses: an extraordinary venture, made possible thanks to the support and commitment of the Nuova Jolly Marine shipyard, renowned for its dedication in building state-of-the-art boats.

On June 14th, the inaugural conference of this exciting adventure will be held at the Nuova Jolly Marine headquarters, where Sergio Davì will unveil the details and objectives of its Italian Lighthouses journey: an event that represents just the latest stage in a long collaboration between the sailor and the shipyard, which have already tackled several challenges together.

One of the highlights that marked the partnership between Sergio Davì and Nuova Jolly Marine was the Atlantic crossing made aboard the Atlantic Prince 38. A true test of endurance and performance that demonstrated the reliability and sturdiness of the boat made by the shipyard. A venture that was a real success and that consolidated the bond between the sailor and the company, creating a solid base of mutual trust.

Italian Lighthouses RIB Experience“, scheduled for autumn 2023, will depart from Genoa and will see Sergio Davì engaged in a tour of around forty days aboard the RIB Aretusa Explorer, to rediscover some of the lighthouses of the Tyrrhenian Sea: all in favour of a promotion and enhancement campaign that encourages a sustainable enjoyment of the marine ecosystem and the Italian lighthouse heritage.

“Of this new project – says Antonio Aiello, Production Manager at Nuova Jolly Marine – I really like the fact that there are no records to beat, and it is an experience within everyone’s reach. Italy has beautiful lighthouses; with this trip we give everyone the chance to see them, but not only.

In fact, Sergio will also discover gastronomic traditions in each of his stages, he will discover places, flavours and traditions, and this aspect, I must be honest, fascinates me a lot.

It is an experience for everyone, feasible even with smaller RIBs than our Prince 38. Compared to our past experiences, it won’t be extreme passages like the crossings we’ve become accustomed to, but a campaign to describe the beauty of our country that can also be crossed by boat, and I really like this message. If the opportunity arises we will gladly join in on some of the stages, it will be a real pleasure for us’.

Indeed, it is not the first time that Nuova Jolly Marine, which stands out for its excellence in the production of high quality yachts, has embraced projects of this type. Thanks to a deep dedication to the research and development of new marine technologies, Nuova Jolly Marine has achieved the perfect combination of high level performance and maximum comfort on board: a concept that fits perfectly with Sergio Davì’s ambitious adventures.

A partnership, therefore, that works perfectly for both: while the Navigator can count on exceptional performance and uncompromising comfort during long voyages, Nuova Jolly has been able to put its boats through their paces in extreme conditions, demonstrating their robustness and ability to meet the challenges of the sea.

In addition to financial and logistical support, Nuova Jolly Marina provides technical expertise, continuous advice and updates on the latest innovations in the boat sector, in a constant quest for excellence, in order to constantly improve boat performance and overcome the toughest sea challenges.

All that remains is to wait for the press conference presenting the project, to find out all the details of this next adventure in which Sergio Davì and the Prince 38 will once again test their determination and ability to explore remote and fascinating places along the magnificent Italian coastline.

At the end of the conference, it will also be possible to climb on board the Arethusa Explorer, which will sail a few miles off the coast for the release of a turtle rescued and assisted by the C.Re.Ta.M. (National Reference Centre on the Welfare, Monitoring and Diagnosis of Sea Turtle Diseases) of the IZS Sicilia.
