Pardo Yachts expands into Eastern Europe

Pardo Yachts continues to expand in the Adriatic and Ionian macro-region and looks towards the promising Eastern European market. BS Nautic’s luxury yacht brand has entered into a new partnership with Blu Yachts, a well-established dealer in the Eastern European yachting sector and a benchmark for the major Italian shipbuilding brands, with the aim of increasing its presence in Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, Poland and other Eastern European countries. This important synergy could be a turning point in the consolidation of Pardo Yachts’ elegant yachts on the other side of the Adriatic.

The main players in this expansion project are highly reputable: on the one hand, BS Nautic, the dealer of the Forlì-based Cantiere del Pardo, which has already conquered half of Europe with its luxurious and innovative yachts; and on the other hand, Blu Yachts, the Timone Yachts Group company headed by Luigi Gambelli and Paolo Moresco, which has built up an extensive and well-established sales network in the Balkans.

As Stefano Quaggiotti of Pardo Yachts, representative for the Adriatic macro-area market, explains, “over the last few years at Portopiccolo (the charming village on the Trieste coast where a Pardo Yachts office is based, Editor’s note) we’ve built, together with my colleagues Piero Sermenghi and Roberto Cabrini, a beautiful Pardo ‘base’ that’s our pride and joy, a sort of showcase where you can see Pardo Yachts models and where every year we organize Pardo Yachts Week with a display of all our boats. It’s in this occasion that we were able to perceive the value of the interesting Eastern European market, in strong expansion and more and more attracted by our brand”.

“In this case, the partnership makes us even more pleased,” continues Mr. Quaggiotti, “because it stems from a relationship with Gambelli which, before being professional, is human and full of esteem. In Luigi and in his Blu Yachts we saw the ideal partner for Pardo’s expansion project: reliability, long-standing experience and in-depth knowledge of the reference market are not characteristics that can be improvised, and the most ambitious goals need partners of this stature”.

Luigi Gambelli of Blu Yachts also emphasizes the importance of building synergies between boating professionals: “Our commercial expansion target towards Eastern Europe is well known and we are evaluating the possibility of opening offices in southern Croatia, Montenegro and Albania. So we welcome the collaboration with important partners like Pardo Yachts and Bs Nautic, which makes us realize that we are on the right track. It’s important to feel on the same wavelength as those who want to build an innovative, far-sighted project to be present in the Adriatic and Central European areas.
