Prestige M8 Tour: the luxurious catamaran touring France and Italy for sea trials

An unmissable opportunity is on the horizon to experience the luxurious catamaran Prestige M8 in various Mediterranean locations. Following the resounding success of its European debut last April at the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte, France, Prestige Yachts has organized a tour of the Prestige M8 in a series of exclusive maritime destinations between France and Italy, thus providing owners the chance to climb aboard its flagship vessel.

Tour Stops

The Prestige M8 tour will start this May and continue until July 2024. It’s a unique event to experience Prestige Yachts’ art de vivre aboard its flagship.

Here are the tour stops:

  • May 16th and 17th: Canet-en-Roussillon, France
  • June 7th and 8th: Antibes, France
  • June 22nd: Mandelieu-la-Napoule, France
  • July (date to be determined): Varazze, Italy

To book a sea trial of the Prestige M8 at one of the stops, you can request an invitation by filling out the form on the Prestige Yachts website.

About the Prestige M8

On YachtingNews, we have extensively praised the formidable characteristics of this extraordinary catamaran, especially in our sea trial. But it’s absolutely worth summarizing them. The Prestige M8 is the perfect cruiser for lifestyle-oriented vacations: it’s a sumptuous cruising yacht capable of offering a dream lifestyle, having redefined the standards of onboard wellness. Designed by Camillo Garroni, the Prestige M8 has literally broken the market’s conventions. This luxurious 19-meter-long catamaran is equipped with extraordinary finishes and represents a true floating apartment, with a whopping 300 square meters of living space and every comfort imaginable.

Particularly captivating is the hydraulic platform, which, with its compass-like movement, can be experienced both as a terrace extending from the lounge and as a beach area. It spans over 4 meters wide and a remarkable 1.5 meters deep, with three configuration options (submerged for swimming, aligned with the garage, or raised to extend the main deck), making it the most coveted feature of this yacht. Another highlight of the Prestige M8 is the 16-meter flybridge, with modular furniture that allows the owner to create cozy conversation corners, sunbathing areas with chaise lounges, or accommodate up to ten people for dinner.

The Prestige M8 can be configured with either four or five guest cabins, in addition to crew cabins positioned at the bow. The largest spaces onboard are the salon and the master cabin, measuring 50 and 30 square meters respectively. As for the propulsion system, the standard setup includes two Volvo Penta D8 diesel engines, 600 HP each, offering a top speed of 20 knots at 2900 RPM.

Since its launch, the Prestige M8 has garnered not only immense appreciation from the public but also several awards that attest to its quality. More specifically, the catamaran was praised at the Düsseldorf Boat Show during the prestigious “Motor Boats Awards” in the category of flybridges over 60 feet. In short, those who have the opportunity to test it during one of the tour stops should not miss this chance.
