PRESTIGE YACHTS LAUNCHES SIX NEW MODELS FOR THE NEXT BOAT SHOWS

Created in 1989 by the Jeanneau shipyard to create highly competitive motoryachts in a market crowded with a multitude of brands, Prestige Yachts is now an internationally recognized brand with a successful history behind its back. Its incredible success derives, above all, from the ability to anticipate both tastes and possibilities of a passionate target, interested in a “solid” product.

It is no coincidence that the original guidelines of the brand were simple and well-defined: conviviality, thanks to the development of activities in a single level; a 360-degree of the sea; particular focus on the night zone and spacious master cabins. All these hallmarks have always been preserved even when the range spread its wings to higher creations.

Another – not minor – success factor was the ability to characterize the models of the different Prestige lines with typically Italian elegance in collaboration with Garroni Design. The perfect combination of elegant design, French advanced hull design and powerful motorization has resulted into a series of attractive performing models with class-leading volumes.

The already existing models of the range will be complemented by some interesting novelties during the next 2017-2018 season.

Scheduled to debut at Miami International Boat Show next February, the new Prestige 460 is an elegant boat boasting the key design choices of the line, especially in terms of exterior design. Thanks to a huge window, the boat, in fact, offers a 360-degree view of the sea with a consequent optical illusion of a fly suspended over the rest of the boat.

Streamlined lines are emphasized by the flybridge design that creates a sturdy protection for the underlying cockpit.

In the stern, the rollbar, properly thrown back, increases the perception of an aggressive but elegant exterior design. The external pilot station is located on the left in order to leave room for a sun pad equipped with elevating backrest. A L-shaped sofa and a coffee table complete the layout of this zone.

The main deck proposes a certain continuity between “outside” and “inside”, a typicall hallmark of Prestige yachts. Well-sheltered by the flybridge, the cockpit is furnished with a sofa and a table that replicate the flybridge layout and design. The area gives instant access to the swimming platform and, thanks to side passages, to the fore sun pad. When open, the large gazed door positioned opposite the external sofa converts interior and exterior spaces into a single continuum. The galley and adjacent toilets are located aft, just after the entrance door, and prelude the central saloon equipped with two counter posed sofas: the first, a little larger and L-shaped, essentially serves the coffee table while the second one, on the opposite side, is linear and positioned just behind the console. The night zone is accessible through a centrally-located staircase positioned next to the pilot station.

The central section of the boat is entirely devoted to the elegant spaces of the master room, with the bed arranged lengthways and the headboard facing the stern. The owner’s cabin uses 60% of the main deck. The Vip cabin is, on the contrary, located in the bow and a third cabin is abaft the engine room. Customizable woods and rfined furniture create elegant welcoming environments on board.

The Prestige 460 is even available in a coupé version: the Prestige 460 S. Characterized by aggressive sleek lines, she offers an amazing opening sunroof and a large sliding glazed door as well as all the customizable possibilities offered by the flybridge model.

The main deck shares the same arrangement and motorization option as the Fly version. The boat, in fact, can be powered by two Volvo IPS 500 365 Hp or Volvo IPS 600 430 Hp engines. Standard air conditioning, power generator and adequate fuel and water tank capacity guarantee great performance and comfort levels on both models.

The third “new entry” of the shipyard is the Prestige 520. She represents the natural evolution of the already successful Prestige 500. However, if basic concept and layouts are the same, the Prestige 520 offers more generous volumes and more interesting possibilities.

In the flybridge, the sun pad located next to the driving console is larger and the area behind the external pilot station is entirely devoted to conviviality and equipped with a wet bar, an enveloping sofa and a large table. Now unnecessary, the rollbar disappears since the structure of the flybridge is large enough to provide with additional volumes where to accommodate antennas and on-board equipment.

On the main deck, the cockpit if furnished with a large L-shaped sofa on the left, a table and a staircase on the right. Lateral passages give instant access to the fore sun pad and the technical area, whose spaciousness gives crew members full freedom of movement without interfering with guests’ relaxation moments.

Inside, the central lounge is larger than in the previous version and the reclining backrest of the pilot’ seat allows to create an additional seat opposite the lounge that, in its turn, becomes a further living zone when at the anchor.

Spaciousness is the main player in the galley, too, which is undoubtedly much larger than the Prestige 460. A lateral staircase leads to the master cabin while a central one, located next to the console, serves both the Vip and guest cabin.

In the night zone, the master cabin features the usual large spaces arranged in central position. In the fore Vip cabin, the double bed can be easily converted into two twin beds while a third cabin in the middle can accommodate two guests in two twin beds. The crew cabin is located aft.

The 52-footer, too, envisages a Coupé version named Prestige 520 S that, like the flybridge-equipped sister, will be powered by two Volvo IPS 600 engines. Each outputting 435 Hp, they deliver a top and a cruising speed of 26 and 22 knots respectively.

The other novelties of the shipyard are the two Prestige 630 Sportyacht models and the Prestige 680 Sportyacht, both boasting the innovative creativity of Garroni Design. With a hull designed by J&J Design and powered with two Volvo IPS 950 and two Volvo IPS 1200 engines respectively, the two boats are the highest expression of Prestige Yachts’ philosophy. A large sliding gazed sunroof overlooking the saloon can immediately transform the perception of interiors, already flooded with natural light by large windows.

The flybridge, perfectly in line with sporty exterior lines, is rather small and, in addition to a fully-equipped pilot driving console, offers a welcoming lounge. Interiors include refined furniture and finishes, private access to the master cabin as well as luxurious and partially adjustable living spaces.

The next Cannes Yachting Festival is the event chosen by the shipyard to display a Prestige 630 with refined Hi-Gloss Wenge details along with a 4-cabin grey oak version of the Prestige 680.
