Two rudders and three cabins in a less than 10 meter boat: here’s the calling card of the new Bavaria 34 Cruiser that has just been presented to the public during the first day of the Düsseldorf Boot.
The design of the German shipyards newborn has been entrusted for the external lines to Farr Yacht Design, for the deck and the interiors to the already expert team Bavaria, supported by the British of Design Unlimited. The result is a boat that in less than 10 meters can concentrate many characteristics that make the navigation and the view on board comfortable, certainly making the new 34 Cruiser a desirable craft for all of those whom are searching for a boat to use for family outings or vacationer navigazions.
The helmsmans life’s yield simple thanks to the double rudders, that enable an optimal view at any time, from the ergonomic seats and the postponement of all the maneuvers in cockpit. The liveability of the boat is guaranteed from the very well reasearched spaces, either in deck and lowerdeck. Even in this case the element that more strikes is the double wheelhouse, that leaves much space to pass from the platform to descend into sea and the main deck. The 3 Cabins (that are an optional, the standard version expects 2 double cabins) are quite spacious considering the dimensions of the boat, as well as the bathroom. The “L” formed kitchen is minimal, while the dinette is wide and well designed.
From a constructive point of view, hull and deck are in sandwich, reinforced with aluminum plates in the fixing points of the deck equipment. The keels external layers of the new Bavaria 34 Cruiser are made of isoftalic resin, that guarantees a major resistence to osmosis, and lengthens the hulls thereotichal life.
